Methodological webinar "Grandma's Bear"
The NGO "Genofond of the Nation" held a methodological webinar "Grandma's Teddy Bear" dedicated to the use of a therapeutic toy as a tool for psychological support for children and adults experiencing the consequences of war. The practice was based on handmade knitted teddy bears created by volunteers from New Zealand as a symbol of care, support and international solidarity.
During the webinar, participants learned about the possibilities of using a therapeutic toy in forming a sense of security, developing psychological resilience and restoring internal resources. Practical approaches to using the technique in working with children and adults were presented, and the role of a symbolic object in the process of emotional recovery and developing resilience was also considered.
