Methodological seminar "Don't be a shark, but if necessary, be one!"

The NGO "Genofond of the Nation" held a methodological seminar dedicated to the use of therapeutic toys in working with children's aggression. The event was aimed at deepening the understanding of the nature of aggression as an emotional reaction and mastering modern methods of its ecological habitation and transformation into constructive forms of behavior, especially in war conditions.

During the seminar, participants got acquainted with the psychological symbolism of the "shark" toy, neurobiological mechanisms of the emergence of children's aggression, therapeutic stories and practical cases of using the toy in psychological support of children. Special attention was paid to the formation of emotional self-regulation skills, the development of psychological resilience and the use of play therapy as an effective tool for supporting children experiencing the consequences of war.
