Methodological seminar "Formation of children's resilience and prevention of depressive manifestations using the toy Monkey"

The NGO "Genofond of the Nation" held a methodological seminar dedicated to the use of the therapeutic toy "Monkey" in working with children experiencing stress, loss of a sense of security and the consequences of traumatic events. The methodology is aimed at developing children's resilience, preventing depressive manifestations, developing emotional self-regulation skills and restoring internal resources.

During the seminar, participants were introduced to the psychological foundations of resilience formation, the role of a therapeutic toy in creating a safe space for a child and practical methods of its use. Body-oriented practices, the Huggy Puppy game technique, art therapy techniques, fairy tale therapy and approaches to psychological support of children, in particular from families of military personnel, were presented. The seminar combined modern theoretical knowledge with practical training of techniques that can be integrated into the professional activities of psychologists, teachers and specialists in helping professions.
